Joyce Lenora Cooper, age 76, of Americus, died at Phoebe Sumter Memorial Hospital, July 5, 2015. A native of Ocilla, she was born March 10, 1939, the daughter of Joseph Melvin Kimbrell and Mary Ella Young Kimbrell. Mrs. Cooper was a member of Albany Grace Church of Nazarene and she was the owner of A.B. Furniture. Funeral services will be held Wednesday July 8, 2015 at 11:00AM at Albany Grace Church of Nazarene, 3000 Gillionville Rd. Albany, with Rev. Hilton Gillespie and Rev. David Miller Officiating. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery Albany. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at 10:00 AM for visitation at Albany Grace Church of Nazarene. . In Lieu of flowers, all donations are to be made to Albany Grace Church of Nazarene, 3000 Gillionville Rd. Albany, GA., 31707. Survivors include a son, Ronnie Lee Cooper of Albany; a daughter-in-law, Ruth Cooper of Ashford, AL; two sisters, Gladys Usry of Americus and Lou Perkins of Vidalia; four grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Connie Elaine Kwant and a son, William Thomas Cooper.
