Mr. John Daniel Warren, age 74, of 669 Burma Road, Andersonville, died Saturday afternoon, June 30, 2012, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany. A native of Berrien County, Mr. Warren was born March 2, 1938, son of the late Henry Homer Warren and Toy Singletary Warren. Mr. Warren was a security guard for the City of Andersonville. He was of the Baptist faith and attended Cheek Memorial Baptist Church. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, July 3, 2012 on the family property at Burma Road in Andersonville with Bro. Keith Wisham officiating. A visitation will be held Monday, July 2, 2012 from 6 pm-8pm at the funeral chapel. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Barbara Warren of Andersonville; three sons, James D. Warren of Douglas, Joey D. Warren of Andersonville and Douglas A. Spivey of Gaylesville, Alabama; three daughters, Lynn Novak of Americus, Sandra Courson of Lakeland and Joy Diane Cason of Logansville; one sister, Lettie Warren of Nashville. A number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by one son, John David Warren.
