Joann Hortman Youngblood, 73, of Americus passed away Sunday, May 1, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her two daughters. Mrs. Youngblood was born on October 5, 1948, to the late John Hortman and Jewel Hortman Powell. She was preceded in death by her son, Wayne Youngblood and the love of her life, Joe Youngblood.

Family will be greeting friends at Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel Tuesday, May 3, 2022, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. A private service will be held for the family.

Survivors include her two daughters, Sundie Avery (Randy) of Ellaville and Lisa Kelly (Billy) of Americus; one sister, Effie Lloyd of Americus; three grandchildren, Brook Kelly, Trevor Avery (Crystal), Dallas Avery and his fiancé' Amber Jones and two great grandchildren, Hollis Rae and Brycen.

The family requests memorial contributions to be made to the charity of choice.
