Jimmy David Peaster Jr, affectionately known as Dusty, passed away on October 16, 2024. Born on February 4, 1959, in Montezuma, Georgia, Dusty was the son of the late Jimmy David Peaster Sr. and the late Janice Ruby Barfield and Jerry Nolan Barfield. He is survived by his son Jimmy David Peaster III and an adopted daughter Tabatha Peaster along with his grandsons Hunter and Jordan Peaster and Dalton and Timothy Brown, his 5 brothers Dale (Allison) Peaster, Jerry Lynn Barfield, Jody (Phyllis) Barfield, Richard Barfield, Donald Barfield and 1 sister Sandra Barfield.  Dusty is also survived by a stepdaughter, Joyce, and three stepsons: Jimmy, Bobby, and Willy. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Barbara and a special aunt Christine Peaster. His service in the Army for six years reflects his dedication to his country. Dusty found joy in watching Nascar, fishing, and cherishing moments with his loved ones. Per his request there will be no service.
