Janie Turner Cauley Janie Turner Cauley, age 93, of 181 Hwy 49 S., Americus, died at Magnolia Manor Tuesday, September 22, 2015. A native of Dooly County, she was born October 11, 1921, the daughter of the late Otis and Emma Barry Hall. Mrs. Cauley was one of the oldest members of Rehoboth Baptist Church. She loved working with her flowers in the yard and also loved taking care of her grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 25, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Rehoboth Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Kirk and Rev. James Beckett officiating and burial to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 24, 2015, at Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel from 5:30 until 7:30 PM and at other times the residence of Jane Austin Bailey 1913 Radiance Ave. Pallbearers include Grandsons,Mike Turner, Ted Turner, Brian Turner, Patrick Turner, Cullen Austin and older Great Grandsons Christian King, Gaven King, Turner Gillis and Bryan Mays. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Jane Austin Bailey (Darrell) of Americus; two sons and daughters-in-law, Donnie Turner (Patricia) of Americus and Pat Turner (Deborah) of Smithville; a sister, Willie Maude "Sister" Jackson of Americus; thirteen grandchildren, Mike Turner, Michelle Turner Mayes, Ted Turner, Lisa Turner Simpson, Erikka Turner, Angie Turner Gillis, Brian Turner, Deanna Turner King, Kristy Turner Kobs, Patrick Turner, Brittney Dennard Avant, Chealsea Austin Cromer and Cullen Austin; three step grandchildren, Tyler Bailey, Alex Bailey and Cole Bailey; and nineteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death her husband Pat R. Turner and two sons, Gerald W. Turner and Patrick "Teddy" R.Turner.
