James Kenneth King, age 73, of 185 S Freeman Ave., Andersonville, died at his residence Friday, November 27, 2015. A native of Americus, he was born October 15, 1942, the son of the late Elbert and Thelma Kitchens King. Mr. King was a retired Journeyman Lineman. He was a member of Andersonville United Methodist Church, IBW Union and the Flee Club. Services will be held Thursday, December 3, 2015, at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Sumter Humane Society, 108 Industrial Blvd., Americus, Ga. 31719. Survivors include two sons, Jeff King of Andersonville and Keith King of Ellaville; two sisters, Marie Stuckey of Andersonville and Cindy Blake of Leesburg; a brother, Edward Eugene King of Lake Butler, FL; six grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren.
