James Gary Jacquin, age 68, of 149 S. Freeman Ave, Andersonville, died Friday, March 1, 2013, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Atlanta. A native of Atlanta, he was born January 22, 1945, the son of the late Robert and Virginia Carden Gary Jacquin. Mr. Jacquin was a retired computer programmer analyst and was of the Methodist faith. He attended Andersonville United Methodist Church and enjoyed fishing, outdoors and gardening. Graveside services will be held Monday, March 4, 2013, at 2:00 PM at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Gil Tripp officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 3, 2013 from 2:00 until 4:00 PM at Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Janice Jacquin of Andersonville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Julie and Trey Strickland of Cumming and Beth and Brent Nitschke of Marrietta; a sister, Elaine Langbehn of Huntsville, AL.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Rick and Cheryl Jacquin of Phoenix City, AL. and Bob and Sheryl Jacquin of Orlando, FL.; and three grandchildren, Kara, Allison and James Nitschke.
