James "Jim" Clinton Shortte, Jr., age 56, of Andersonville, died at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center Friday, August 28, 2020. A native of Americus, he was born September 11, 1963 to the late, James and Sarah Shortte, Sr. Mr. Shortte was a foreman at Imery's and loved football, wrestling, western movies and Elvis. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, September 1, 2020, at 9:00 AM at Ebenezer Cemetery in Schley County with Rev. Ruble Youngblood officiating. The family will receive friends Monday, August 31, 2020, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel. Survivors include his wife Denise Shortte; daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Jammie Norman of Andersonville; two sons and companions Blake Shortte and Robyn Fredrick of Fortson and Clint and Brooke Shortte ; mother, Sarah Shortte of Americus; a brother, Tim May of South Carolina; a daughter-in-law, Della Woods of Ellaville; and eleven grandchildren, Colbey Shortte, Montana Shortte, Madalyn Shortte, Landen Shortte, Bentley Shortte, Addisyn Shortte, Caden Shortte, Mason Shortte, Hayden Norman, Noah Norman and McKinsley Norman.
