Inez Smith Daniel, age 93, of 2124 Highway 280 W., Plains, formerly of Webster County, died at Sumter Retirement Village Tuesday, September 18, 2012. A native of Ellaville, she was born October 16, 1918, the daughter of the late Edward R. and Fannie Mae Bullock Smith. Mrs. Daniel was a member of First Baptist Church of Richland; a member of Eastern Star and was employed as a seamstress with Manhatten Shirt Company for thirty three years. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, September 19, 2012, at 11:00 AM, at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Rev. Raymond Smith officiating. The family will receive friends at 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM, at Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Sumter Retirement Village, 2124 Highway 280 W., Plains, Ga. 31780 or to your favorite charity. Mrs. Daniel is survived by a number of nieces and nephews including Herman and Jackie Bell of Americus. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lunas J. Daniel. Cemetery: Sunset Memorial Gardens
