Inez Lumpkin Bishop Inez Lumpkin Bishop, age 90, of 2001 S. Lee St., Americus, died at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center Saturday, May 10, 2014. A native of Randolph County, Georgia, she was born June 10, 1923, the daughter of the late James Everett and Virginia Bryan Lumpkin. She was a member of Central Baptist Church for sixty years and was a loving wife and mother. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at 2:00 PM at Central Baptist Church with Rev. Bryan Myers and Rev. Hugh DeLoach officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Central Baptist Church, 190 Upper River Rd., Americus, Ga. 31709 or League of the Good Samaritan, Magnolia Manor, 2001 S. Lee St., Americus, Ga. 31709. Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law, Sheryl Bishop MacMillan of Charleston, SC and Cynthia Bishop Ward (Thomas E) of Cumming; a grandson, Jason T. Ward (Leah); and also two great grandchildren, Katharine P. Ward and Jackson T. Ward. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Woodrow Bishop March 22, 1984. Cemetery: Sunset Memorial Gardens
