Hulon Floyd Crowe, Sr., age 68, of 240 Barnes Rd., Americus died at his residence on Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012. A native of Cummings, Georgia, he was born September 13, 1944, the son of the late Edgar Steve and Winnie Jewel Roper Crowe. He was a truck driver and delivery man for Flavor Rich Dairy. He loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a wonderful dad and loving husband. He was a member of the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. Funeral services will be private. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Mavis Crowe of Americus; a daughter and son-in-law, Angelia and Lupe Garcia of Americus; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Hulon Floyd Crowe, Jr., and James and Teresa Crowe both of Americus.; one sister, Margene Roper of Jasper; two brothers, Harold Crow of Americus and Michael Crowe of Ellaville; six grandchildren, Dink Garcia, Waylon Garcia, Anna Crowe, Megan Crowe, and Ashton Crowe, all of Americus and Ryan Crowe of Vidalia and four great-grandchildren, Madison Garcia, Austin Garcia, Logan Garcia, and Mackenzie Garcia. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society c/o Ann Harris, 1801 Rose Avenue, Americus, GA 31709.
