Homer Ross Wooley, age 42, of 264 Memorial Mile Rd., Americus, died Saturday, June 16, 2012. A native of Albany, he was born September 15, 1969, the son of James Walter and Janice Hunt Wooley, Sr. Mr. Wooley was of the Baptist faith and attended Shiloh Baptist Church. He was an electrician by profession and was employed by Weyerhauser. He received numerous awards in the electrical field and was a workaholic. He loved riding his Harley; restoring old cars and loved making people laugh. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. James Alexander officiating. The family will receive friends at Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel, Monday, June 18, 2012, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Honorary pall bearers include Billy Smith, James Wooley, Chris Wooley, Jerry Roberts, Stevie Barfield, Bryan Manning and James Alexander. Survivors include his wife, Ronnica Wooley of Americus; his mother, Janice Hunt Wooley of Leesburg; a daughter and two step-daughters, Jessica L. Wooley of Hawkinsville, Brittany Jade Russell of Americus and Hannah Elizabeth Barfield of Americus; a son, Jacob Ross Wooley of Leesburg; two sisters, Janice Elaine Skyrne of Rockmart and Gale Dacalio of Dawson; three brothers, James W. Wooley of Cordele, Chris T. Wooley of Sylvester and Jerry K. Roberts of Cocoa, FL., and one grandchild, Layla Ann Russell. Cemetery: Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery
