Harriet Elizabeth Hall Crutchfield, age 87, of 2001 S. Lee St., died April 13, 2013 at Magnolia Manor Nursing Center. A native of Vienna, she was born December 12, 1925, the daughter of the late Otis Warren and Emma Barry Hall Sr. Mrs. Crutchfield was retired from Manhatten Shirt Co. and was a devoted member of Faith Baptist Church where she also served in the choir. She was the head chef at Friendship Baptist Camp for many years. Mrs. Crutchfield loved flowers and was an avid gardener. Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 14, 2013, at 4:00 PM in the chapel of Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel with Rev. Tommy McConnell and Rev. Damon Fountain officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the residence of Gail and Judson Davis, 315 B Hwy 19 S. The family suggests any memorial contributions be made to League of the Good Samaritan, Magnolia Manor, and 2001 S. Lee St., Americus, Ga. 31709. Pallbearers include Richard McLaughlin, Judson Davis, Tommy Whitaker, Matt Johnson, Spence Johnson, T.J. Davis and Adam Blizzard. Survivors include four daughters and sons-in-law, Betty Ann Slunt of Moultrie, Gail C. and Judson Davis of Americus, Jody and Tommy Whitaker of Americus and Dorothy and Richard McLaughlin of Hanceville, AL; two sisters, Janie Cauley of Americus and Maude Jackson f Ellaville; seven grandchildren, Matt Johnson, Spence Johnson, T.J. Davis III, Leslie Storey, Adam Blizzard, Brandi Wagner, Joshua Brewer; a step grandchild, Tal Whitaker; and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Howard Crutchfield; a son, Johnny Howard Crutchfield; a sister, Tommie Jo Herbert; and a brother, Otis Warren Hall, Jr. Cemetery: Oak Grove Cemetery
