Guadalupe (Lupe) Gonzalez, 44 of McDonough, passed away Friday, September 15 at Piedmont Henry Hospital in Stockbridge, Ga. Mr. Gonzalez is survived by his wife, Jessica Gonzalez of Ellaville; children, Gavyn Gonzalez, Lyla Gonzalez, stepdaughter Lauren Hall; and parents, Juan and Eustolia Gonzalez of McRae; sister, Juana Maria Gonzalez (Pedro Celis); brothers, Juan Alberto Gonzalez (Barbara Gonzalez), Javier Gonzalez (Gail Gonzalez), Jose Joel Gonzalez (Beatriz Gonzalez), Jose Ezequiel Gonzalez (Magda Galvan), Cesar Gonzalez (Rosa Gonzalez), and Rodolfo Gonzalez (Luz Montoya); his Father & Mother -in-law Donald & Kathleen Tondee; his brother-in-law Steven (Savannah) Tondee; his sister- in-law Caitlin (Chadwick) Hildebrandt. He is predeceased by his brother Jaime Alberto Gonzalez.

Lupe was a devoted husband and loving father, brother, and son. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed playing practical jokes on his brothers. He loved to make people smile and had a joke for every occasion. Lupe was a generous soul who gave to others without asking for anything in return. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 20 from 4:00pm to 8:00 pm  at Greg Hancock Funeral Home. Praying of the Rosary will be from 4:00pm to 5:00pm. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at 9am at Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel a Burial will follow at the Ellaville City Cemetery. Father Samuel Aniekwe will officiate. Greg Hancock Funeral Home in Americus is in charge of all arrangements.
