Glenda Diane Welch, age 75, of Leesburg passed away on Friday, October 28, 2022, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Diane was born in Dougherty County on May 11, 1947 to the late James L. Cook Jr. & Imogene Cook. She graduated in 1965 from Lee County High School, and was a retired Office Manager from Wayne Feeds. Diane enjoyed reading & working on puzzles in her spare time and loved animals.

Survivors include her daughter Melanie Bakkar (Mike) of Macon; Her brothers Bobby Cook (Sandra) of Leesburg, Melvin Cook (Becky) of Leesburg, and Mark Cook of Davisboro; Her sisters Judy Wall of Leesburg, Mary Jane Corley (Steve) of Leesburg; three grandchildren McKenzie, Michael and Miller Bakkar. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews

In addition to her Parents, she was also preceded in death by; her two brothers Tracy Cook and Steve Cook; her sister Christine Cook Pulver.
