Gerald Anthony Smith, Jr., age 63, passed away at his residence on Thursday, August 26, 2021. A native was Americus, he was born on September 4, 1957 to the late Gerald Anthony "Pete" Smith, Sr. and Betty Miller. Gerald loved the simple life. He loved hunting, fishing, and grilling out any chance he had. He enjoyed being with his family. A time of reflections will be held at the home of Perry and Carol Lloyd, 597 Hwy 19 North Americus, GA. on Sunday, August 29, 2021 between the hours of 2:00-5:00 PM. Survivors include his daughter Heather Smith of Cordele; brother Robbie Smith of Cobb; a sister Carol Smith Lloyd of Americus; and one grandchild Luca McDowell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Gaye Smith Lemminn.
