George Ernest Magee, Jr., age 71 of Leslie, passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center. Mr. Magee was born on November 28, 1950 to the late George Ernest Magee Sr. and Katherine Magee in Americus. He served his country for 20 years with the United States Air Force.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 21, 2022 at the Leslie Cemetery at 3:00 PM with Rev. Scott Tucker officiating. In the event of inclement weather, the service will be moved to Leslie United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his two daughters, Staci Magee and Shea Webb (Jim) of Jupiter, FL; a step-daughter, Bridget Hash; a step-son, JC Arrington (Kimberly); a brother, Ken Magee (Debra) of Chapin, SC; a sister, Phyllis Tucker of Smithville; and a granddaughter, Bria Webb.

In leiu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to be made to the American Cancer Society at PO Box 1685 Atlanta, GA 30303.
