George Theron Dominick, Jr., age 74, of 707 Thrasher Rd., Plains, died at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center February 2, 2016. A native of Plains, he was born July 21, 1941, the son of the late George Theron and Jewel Dominick, Sr. Mr Dominick was a member of St. Andrews Lutheran Church in Plains. He loved fishing and his special friend " Hound Dog". Graveside services will be held Friday, February 5, 2016, at 11:00 AM at Lebanon Cemetery in Plains with Rev. Charles Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, February 4, 2016, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry St., Macon, GA 31201. Survivors include his wife, Betty Sue Blankenship Fox Dominick of Plains; three daughters and sons-in-law, Ronda and Kevin Wells of Ellaville, Dana and David McLemore of Americus, and Kim and Sonny Achtchi of Atlanta; two sons and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Sonya Fox of Americus, and Michael Dominick of Plains; a brother, Tommy Dominick of Perry; eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Pam Dominick and a sister, Barbara Hollinshead.
