Frasier "Stem" Stembridge, 84, of Americus, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2018. He was born on October 26, 1933 to Morris Madison and Sarah Essie (Peacock) Stembridge in Houston County, Alabama. On April 17, 1959, he married the former Sarah Helen Davis in Americus, Georgia. Frasier was a United States Army veteran, employed by Central of Georgia Railway, and was a Corporal with the Georgia State Patrol until his retirement. He was a Master Mason with The Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Georgia and a member of the Ancient Arabic Order of the Nobles of the Mystic Shrine. Frasier was an avid fisherman, often cooking his catch for family and friends. He also enjoyed raising and training bird dogs, woodworking, and feeding hummingbirds, of which he had hundreds. Frasier treasured time with family, most of all. Memorial services for Frasier Stembridge will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Americus at 221 South Lee St, Americus, GA. Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. and services will begin at 1:30 p.m. with Reverend Keith Parks officiating. He is survived by his loving wife of nearly sixty years, Sarah Davis Stembridge; along with two daughters; Terri S. Barry (Alan) of Americus and Bootsie S. Price (Mark) of Evans, Georgia; his sister, Gayle E. Stembridge of Americus; his sister-in-law, Evelyn M. Stembridge of Americus; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; his three brothers, Milton E., M. Farrer, and W. A. Stembridge; and his sister, Marion (Stembridge) Askew. In lieu of flowers, Frasier requested that donations be sent to the Shriners Hospital for Children-Donor Relations, 2900 Rocky Pointe Drive, Tampa, FL. 33607.
