Elma Lucille Carter, age 90, of 2001 S. Lee St. Rd, Americus, died Monday, October 4, 2010, at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center. A native of Webster County, Mrs. Carter was born June 8, 1920, the daughter of the late Thomas Richard and Maude Watson Sanders. She was a former employee of Manhatten Shirt Co. and a member of First Baptist Church of Americus. Graveside services will be held Friday, October 8, 2010, at 11:00 AM at Oak Grove Cemetery with Rev.
