Elaine Cavell Lyle, 99, of 2001 S. Lee St., died Wednesday, January 18, 2017. She was born June 14, 1917 in Toronto, Ontario. She was a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church in Cordele. She lived a full life and spent the last two years at Magnolia Manor in Americus. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Survivors include her two sons and daughter-in-law: Wayne and Flo Lyle of Cobb, and Barry Lyle of Jacksonville, FL; three grandchildren: Tracy and Shannon Little of Cordele, Penny and Max Rodgers of Twin City, and Barbara and David Sumner of Cobb; and six great-grandchildren: Gage Little and Rylee Little of Cordele, Braden Rodgers and Agusta Rodgers of Twin City, and Jacob Sumner and Kaylee Sumner of Cobb.
