Doris Usry Wells, age 89, of Edison, died at her residence Friday, September 11, 2015. A native of Parrot, she was born December 9, 1925 the daughter of the late Theo and Carrie Morris Dale. Mrs. Wells was a caregiver and of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed music, dancing, fishing and spending time with her family. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, September 15, 2015, at 11:00 AM at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Rev. Ralph Estes officiating. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Calhoun Nursing Home, 265 Turner St., Edison, GA 39846. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Roger Lumpkin of Albany; three sons and daughters-in-law, Roger and Melissa Usry of Leesburg, Donald and Merri Holloway of Willis, TX., and Richard and Adell Holloway of Trinity, AL; a sister, Mary Thompson of Americus; a brother and sister-in-law, Theo and Carolyn Dale of Americus; ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
