Dolly Bonner, age 83, of Americus, passed away on May 6, 2021 at Magnolia Manor Nursing Center. A native of LaGrange. Dolly was born November 10, 1937 to the late Lee and Effie Johnson. She was a member of Salem U.M.C. Before moving to Americus, Dolly was involved with the Senior Center and volunteered for Hospice in Troup County. She was also a Pink Lady at Phoebe Sumter. She enjoyed quilting. Graveside services will be held on Monday, May 10, 2021 at 11:00 AM in Floral Memory Gardens in Albany with Rev. Mark Carter officiating. A visitation will follow the service. Survivors include one son John Bonner of LaGrange; a daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Steve Brown of Americus; a brother Tommy Johnson of Cordele; six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John Tommy Bonner and a son Curtis Bonner.
