Delie Fussell Dacus, beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend passed away on November 27, 2023 at Four County Health and Rehabilitation in Richland, GA.

Delie was a lifelong resident of Webster County. She was married to Gene Dacus for 42 years before his passing. Delie was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Preston, GA. She loved her church family and taught Sunday school for over 25 years, and was an active member of WMU for many years. Her love for the Lord was evident in her daily life. Her prayer for everyone would be that each and every person would come to know Christ and accept Him as Lord and Savior.

Delie was a graduate of Webster County High School, early on she was a Cosmetologist and later in life worked for Larry B. Smith at Smith Funeral Home in Richland, GA. Serving as "Lady attendant" for 20 years.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Macedonia Baptist Church at 11:00 AM with Brother Robert Orr officiating.

Delie is survived by her children, Keith Dacus (Joanne) of Richland, GA., Jill Dacus Howell (Neil) of Canton, GA., two grandchildren, Chelsea Dacus Phillips (Matthew) of Vienna, GA, Kix Dacus of Richland, GA., and two great grandchildren, Blakely and Jolie Phillips, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Delie was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Dacus; her parents Benjamin Stanley Fussell & Mattie Elizabeth Fussell; her siblings Ben Fussell, Charley Drew, and Callie Dacus.
