Debra Corrine Peak, age 56, of Dawson, passed away on Monday, November 09, 2020 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. A native of Cuthbert, Debra was born September 27, 1964, the daughter of the late Robert Peak Sr., and Sandra Peak. She was Methodist by faith and attended Leslie United Methodist Church. Debra was one of a kind and anyone who met her, never forgot her. She lived life to the fullest. She enjoyed fishing, animals, and doing arts and crafts. Debra loved to joke with people, just to put a smile on their face. She loved her family, but her grandchildren were the motivation to keep pushing through any obstacle in her way. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel with Rev. Chris Wooden officiating. The family will receive friends at Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel from 12:00-1:00 PM. Survivors include two sons, Mark(Emily) DeVane of Ellaville and Randy DeVane of Ellaville; one daughter, Lesile(Chase) McKinney of Ellaville; one brother, Robert Jr.(Holly) Peak of Buena Vista; two sisters, Angie(Brian) Dowdey of Dawson and Rhonda(Wen) Howell of Rochelle; and eight grandchildren, Landen Crenshaw, Ayden McKinney, Brayden McKinney, Briah McKinney, Ava DeVane, Adalyn DeVane, Tripp DeVane, and Berkleigh Holbrook. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
