Dallas Lorin Freeman, age 33, of Leslie, died at his residence Friday, February 27, 2015. A native of Americus, he was born October 20, 1981,the son of the Samuel Glenn Freeman and late Bonnie Elise Clanton McSpadden. Dallas was a member of Central Baptist Church. He was an avid outdoorsman, gunsmith and welder. Dallas loved his family, making people laugh, riding ATVs and cooking. He was also very patriotic. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at 11:00 AM, at Central Baptist Church with Rev. Hugh DeLoach and Rev. Reid Wylie officiating. Visitation will be held at Central Baptist Church at 10:00 AM prior to the service. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Friendship Baptist Association, 504 East Oglethorpe Street, Ellaville, GA 31806. Survivors, in addition to his father, include a son, Dylan Jacob Holbrook of Buena Vista; a sister and brother-in-law, Elise and Jon Evans of Phenix City, AL; a nephew, Mason Evans of Phenix City, AL; a grandmother, Alice Clanton of Americus as well as a grandmother and grandfather, Bob and Mary Klinger of Eatonton. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ralph Clanton Jr.
