Miss. Daisy Dickey Purvis, age 95, of Dublin, passed away on March 5, 2021 at Serenity Place. A native of Americus. Daisy was born April 12, 1925 in Oakwood, TX., the daughter of the late Harvey and Evadne Dickey. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She spent the last 12 years in Dublin being with family. All services are private. Survivors include stepson, Chuck Purvis; daughter-in-law, Melanie Purvis; grandchildren, Debbie Purvis Hawkins, Scott Purvis, Ginger Purvis Scott, Beth Purvis, and John David Purvis, Jr. and wife Jamie Purvis, Thomas Purvis, and Daniel Purvis; great grandchildren, Lylah Scott, Skylar Scott, and Jeri Purvis; and a sister Ferol Dickey Trice. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband Milan Purvis and a son John Purvis, Sr. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to be made to First Baptist Church 221 South Lee St. Americus, GA. 31709.
