Curtis H. Pollock, age 88, of 136 S. Bailey Ave., Leslie, died at his residence Saturday, November 12, 2016. He was born March 16, 1928 in Leslie to the late John Morris Pollock and Bessie Irene Harpe Pollock. Mr. Pollock was a member of Leslie United Methodist Church and owned Curtis Pollock Garage for over sixty-five years. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, November 14, 2016 at Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel in Americus. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Leslie City Cemetery. Survivors include his wife of sixty-five years, Mrs. Marjorie Patrick Pollock of Leslie; four sons: Curtis and Trudy Pollock, Jr. of Cobb, Chuck and Nancy Pollock of Acworth, Carl and Carmen Pollock of St. Simons Island, and Chris Pollock of Leesburg; and a daughter, Cissy and Bob Jeanis of St. Louis, MO. Also surviving are a sister, Laurie Jackson of Americus; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Leslie United Methodist Church, 111 E. Allen St., Leslie, GA 31764. Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel is in charge of these arrangements.
