Coy Clifford James, Jr., age 77, of Americus, died at Magnolia Manor Nursing Center Thursday, November 24, 2016. A native of Bainbridge, he was born June 28, 1939, the son of the late Coy and Iris James, Sr. Mr. James was a member of Leslie United Methodist Church and a 1957 graduate of Americus High School. He was a project manager for Lucent Technologies and also worked for Bell South and AT & T. A visitation will be held Saturday, November 26, 2016, from 1:00 until 3:00 PM at Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be private. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children, PO Box 31356, Tampa, Fl. 33631. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Sue Pace James of Americus; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kim and Jerry Conley of Leesburg and Kay and Jeff Martin of Ball Ground; four grandchildren, Coy and Samantha Martin and Landon and Logan Conley.
