Charles Carson Smith, age 74, of Americus passed away Saturday, January 1, 2022 at Phoebe Sumter in Americus. Mr. Smith was born January 7, 1947 in Winter Haven, FL.; to Buford Smith and Frances Heath. He was an Army Veteran during the Vietnam-Era. He was an electrician, employed at Davidson for many years, also employed at Cooper Lighting. Survivors include Mary Smith; mother, Frances Woods; brother, Bobby Brooks (Angie); daughter, Marsha Gray (William); two grandchildren, John and Amanda Farley; and one great grandchild, Addison Farley.
