Charles Malcom Mooney, age 68, of 113 Anderson St., Andersonville, died at his residence Friday, September 11, 2015. A native of Americus, he was born March 26, 1947, the son of the late Harvey Franklin and Annie Flora Mooney. Mr. Mooney was a retired truck driver. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 16, 2015, at 10:00 AM in the chapel of Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel with Rev. Chris Wooden officiating. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the charity of one's choice. Survivors include his wife, Gail Mooney of Andersonville; two step daughters, Raissa Welch of Ellaville and Denise Holley also of Ellaville; a brother, James Mooney of Queens Village, NY.; three step grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Tommy Mooney and a step son, Timmy Parton; three brothers, Wayne Mooney, Gordy Mooney and Billie Mooney.
