Carolyn Jean Barfield Carolyn Jean Barfield, age 62, of 507 Hwy 280 E., Americus, died at her residence Friday, May 8, 2015. A native of Ocala, FL., she was born February 5, 1953, the daughter of the late Harvey Leroy Holton and is survived by her mother, Jo Ann Holton. She was an LPN for many years at Sumter Regional Hospital and was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church. Services will be held Monday, May 11, 2015, at 4:00 PM, at Rehobeth Baptist Church, with Rev. James Beckett officiating and interment to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service from 3:00 until 4:00 PM at Rehoboth Baptist Church. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry St., Macon, GA 31201. Survivors in addition to her mother include, a daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Mathew Cullifer of Blakely; a son and daughter-in-law, John and Julie Barfield of Woodstock; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Sandra and Gregg Wolcott of Americus, Lynn Heath of Smithville and Barbara and Johnny Legg of Andersonville; and four grandchildren, Anna Kate, Jackson, Avery and Emily Ryan Cullifer. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Margie Mathis and Ellen McCrary. Cemetery: Oak Grove Cemetery
