IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Brinda
Middleton
January 15, 1952 – April 11, 2025
Brinda Middleton, a beloved matriarch, passed away on Friday, April 11, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion to family. She was a proud resident of her community for over 60 years and was Baptist by faith.
Born to the late Kelly Hollon and Jewel Myrtice Lee Hollon, Brinda lived a life centered on family, service, and compassion. She was a retired Office Administrator for the Americus Police Department, where she was respected for her dedication and loyalty.
She is survived by her loving husband, Larry Middleton.
Brinda is also survived by her daughters, Amy Bailey of Warner Robins (Mark Robinson, fiancé), Julie Hollis of Navarre, Florida (Dallis "Hank" Hollis), and Robin Albritton of Plains (John Albritton); her step-sons, Blake Middleton and Michael Middleton; her brother, Danny Hollon (Madeline); her grandchildren: Lauren (Nick), Stephanie (Tyler), Savannah, Meagan (Alex), Austin (Amanda), Elijah, Isabella, Victoria (Hoyt), Trenton, Brett, and Owen. She was also blessed with 15 great-grandchildren and a number of other relatives and friends who will cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Frank, Johnny, Carolyn, and her twin sister, Linda.
Brinda lived a life full of simple joys and cherished moments. She loved the outdoors and found great peace in hunting, fishing, birdwatching, and flowers. But above all, hummingbirds were her favorite — delicate yet strong, just like her spirit.
Her love for her family was unmatched, always present for life's milestones, always taking pictures, and always putting others before herself.
A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
