Brenda Jean Cain, age 68, of Leslie, died at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center on Thursday, July 4, 2019. A native of Raleigh, North Carolina, she was born January 2, 1951, the daughter of the late Cuyler Dennard Patterson and Tommie Kate Patterson. Mrs. Cain was a member of Riverview Baptist Church in Vienna, Georgia. Mrs. Cain loved fishing, going to Biloxi, reading, crochet, playing cards and her cats. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2019, at 4:00 pm, at Riverview Baptist Church in Vienna, Ga, with Jeremy Barrett officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Heaven's Saints Motorcycle Ministry. Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Homer Cain of Leslie; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy (John) Howard of Leslie; two sisters, Carla Bolton of Americus and Pat Singley of Americus.
