Bobby Jack Legg, age 69, of Andersonville, went to heaven on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Bobby was a devoted husband, a passionate sports fan, and cherished by his brothers, sister and friends.

Born to Ben and Agnes Legg on January 23, 1956, Bobby was known for his warm smile and infectious laughter. He spent 43 wonderful years married to his beloved wife, Gena Legg, with whom he shared countless memories and adventures.

Bobby had a deep passion for NASCAR and college football, proudly cheering for the Georgia Bulldogs. His enthusiasm for sports was matched only by his love for grilling, where he would often gather family and friends for delicious meals and unforgettable moments. Whether it was a game day celebration or a simple backyard cookout, Bobby's presence brought people together, creating bonds that will last a lifetime.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother Ben and Agnes Legg, Siblings John Legg, Ben Legg, Sarah Hamilton and his daughter Leslie Legg Wellons.

He is survived by his loving wife, Gena; brothers, Michael (Debbie) Legg, Donnie (Brenda) Legg, and Robert Legg; sister, Margaret (Morgan) Yawn; Son-in-Law, David Wellons; granddaughter, Caroline Elizabeth Wellons, and several Nieces and Nephews; Bobby also leaves behind his fur babies Gracie and Abbie.

A celebration of Bobby's life will be held Friday, March 7, 2025 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel with Rev. Keith Parks officiating the service, where friends and family are invited to share their stories and honor the legacy of a truly remarkable man.
