Billie JoAnne Powell, 65, of Americus died Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at her home. She was born February 16, 1953 to the late William Ray Parker and Anne Maude Moore Parker. A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, October 13, 2018 at the home of Jessica and Will Rees, 150 Taylor St. in Leslie. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Will Rees of Leslie; a brother and sister-in-law, Charlie and Gail Parker of Ellaville; and two grandchildren: Davin Rees and Eathan Rees. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Anderson. Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
