Mrs. Betty Miller, age 83, of Americus, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2020. Mrs. Miller was born July 4, 1936 in Heflin, Alabama, to the late Dailey & Lillie Garrett. Mrs. Miller was a member at 1st Assembly of God. She loved the Lord and her family with all her heart. She always looked forward to hosting Sunday lunches for them. She enjoyed canning and preserving food. She loved going to travel. The family has requested that all services are to be private. Survivors include; two sons, Jerry Smith of Cobb and Robbie Smith of Cobb; one daughter, Carol Lloyd and her husband Perry of Americus; six grandchildren, Misty Lalaian and her husband Jeff, Josh Lloyd and his wife Tina, David Lloyd, Shannon Smith, and Heather Smith; also surviving are her six great-grandchildren. Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her loving husband Johnny Boyce Miller, a daughter Gaye S. Lemminn, parents Dailey and Lillie Mae Garrett, two brothers, Bud Garrett and Bo Garrett, and two sisters, Beatrice Lloyd and Jean Thiers DeLory.
