Miss Betty Jean Holman, age 91, of Americus, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 31 2025, at Magnolia Manor Nursing Center.

She was born in Americus, Georgia, the daughter of Virgil Emery Holman and Georgia Craig Holman. She was a member of Leslie Community Church.

Betty was a graduate of Union High School, Leslie, Georgia, and attended Georgia Southwestern State University.

She loved her church, her family, and her pets.

She is survived by her brother Thomas E. Holman; sisters Shirley Holman Ulrick and Sylvia Holman Eubanks; nephews and nieces Lee Holman (Catherine), Tommy Holman(Michelle), Steve Bullock (Fu'san), Bill Ulrick (Jeannine), Louann Carney, Kathy Taylor (Jeff), and Paul Eubanks.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Harriette Holman Prince; nieces Wanda Prince Gosa, Connie Eubanks; nephew Jim Carney; great-niece Kaitlyn Carney; and great-nephew Em're Bullock

The family wishes to thank her loving caretakers Ernestine Johnson, Peggy Mask, and Pauline Luster.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, November 2, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery, with Reverend William Hall officiating.
