Betty Caroline Boys, age 90, formerly of Americus, died early Saturday morning, November 22, 2014 at Summerhill in Perry. A native of Americus, she was born April 21, 1924, the daughter of the late Robert Talmadge and Carrie Jo Lansford Crabb. She was a homemaker and a retired Art teacher in the Americus School System and Vienna. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. Graveside services will be held Saturday, November 29, 2014, at 3:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jim Smith officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, November 28, 2014, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, at Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel. Survivors include a daughter, Roberta Gimmell of Crawfordville, FL; four sons, Cyril T. Boys, Jr. of LaGrange, Walter T. Boys of Fayetteville, AK., Allen R. Boys of Bacliff, TX., William T. Boys of Hawkinsville and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cyril T. Boys, Sr.
