Obituary for Falba Lee Price

Mrs. Falba Lee Price, age 78, of 1002 Anthony Dr., Americus, died February 25, 2010 at her residence. A native of Sumter County, Mrs. Price was born April 29, 1931, the daughter of the late Bryant Allen and Louise Justice Lee. She was a member of Central Baptist Church where she was active in the church and also a member of the Silvertone Choir. She was a retired medical bookkeeper and receptionist.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, February 27, 2010, at 2:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Rev. Hugh DeLoach officiating. The family will receive friends at Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel Friday, February 26, 2010 from 5 PM until 7 PM and at other times 1002 Anthony Dr., Americus. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Americus and Sumter County, P.O. Box 1434, Americus, Ga. 31709 or to Central Baptist Church, 190 Upper River Rd., Americus, Ga. 31709.
Survivors include one daughter, Brenda Langley of St. Simons Island; four sons and daughters-in-law, Donnie and Deborah Price of Americus, Rick and Ramona Price of Americus, Gary and Lois Price of Grand Rapids, MI. and Gene and Mari Price also of Grand Rapids, MI.; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Doris and Paul Moore of Warner Robins and Iona Hutto also of Warner Robins; one brother, Davis Lee of Americus; eleven grandchildren, Brendan and Robbie Langley of St. Simons Island, Bryant and Blake Price of Grand Rapids, MI., Adam Price and Matt Rouche of Grand Rapids, MI., Lauren Allen and Dana Alewine of Leesburg, Holly Dykes of Macon, Ashley Whitmire of Knoxville, TN., and Scarlotte Musgrove of Americus; nine great-grandchildren, Laura Lee, Emma and Bailey Allen, Cooper Dykes, Heys and Mason Whitmire, Samantha Rouche, Logan Driggers and Riley Alewine. Mrs. Price was preceded in death by her husband, Roscoe Adam Price.
